Floating on Boats, With Dinosaurs

Boredom took over as a pregnant, tired, and borderline-annoyed mother searched for something to entertain her two young boys. Since the trio had spent most the day at home, resources were depleted, it was hot, and laundry had to be done. It was a call for drastic measures.
Which beget floating in boats with dinosaurs.
As the weary mother had planned on leaving the children to play by themselves (relax, she wants the reader to know that she does, in fact, have a windowed-door to which she would supervise while doing such household duties), she watched in wonder over their excitement, and sat in amazement over the gorgeous color of both parties' eyes.
The laundry waits. The small children laugh and giggle. The mother relaxes, for once.
The creative play continues, and apparently, the once-dinosaur-valley turned into a lake, in which the "waterfall" filled it and flooded it (or so the older of the two young boy states).
Due to the recent interest of removing diapers, the youngest of the two small boys floats his dinosaurs au natural.
The weary mother turned sentimental knowing that this perfect head of hair would soon get a trim up, and the curly locks in the back would quickly disappear.
And so the evening continued when the weary mother (who did have a small and nice break watching subjects) waved the white flag to cooking and suggested that the family of soon-to-be five head to the nearest Inn-N-Out. To which the weary wife's husband happily obliged, as well as the two small boys...

He Shoots, She Scores

Other than a brief stop to watch Kid play soccer at his class this evening, I had little interaction with my children today.
Since it was my birthday, yes, I am nearing thirty, my mother-in-law (Gigi) took the boys ALL day and ALL evening. I was able to go through thousands of articles of baby boy clothing and seperate them in bags to give to new baby boys joining the world very soon!
I was also able to go on a very relaxing and rejuvinating hike up to Anderson Dam. Starbucks proceeded, naturally. And Daddy Mock came home early to join me in my freedom. We enjoyed dinner at Ragoots, our favorite restaurant, stopped for some soccer, then hit up a chick flick.
A perfect day!
I'm not huge birthday fan, so a movie is all I need to make me happy!

Thanks to all of you who called and facebooked me birthday wishes! It was a wonderful day (and I managed to keep my head out of the toilet, surely Scarlett's gift to her Mommy!)!
