Christmas Comes Early

Well, due to the chaos of the holidays, the Brown clan (and their offspring) decided to celebrate Christmas early. Let me just say I like this idea for the following reasons:
-Forces Christmas shopping to be done early, meaning less crowds
-Early Christmas decor setup, which is always so fun as I always seem to be in the spirit much earlier in the season than later. I hate crowds.
-Early Christmas decor tear down. Even better. I am going to enjoy tearing down my Christmas crap before Christmas. Grinch, sure, but I can't handle a ginormous tree in my living room longer than a few weeks.
-TRAVEL. The best perk by far. Not that it applies to us, per se, as we will still be traveling down South for Christmas, but at least for the rest of the family, they won't have to deal with nasty Christmas traffic.

Drifting, back on track... this weekend was lovely. Jake, Lisa and Starlyn visited us along with my mom and Harold (aka Grammy and Opa). We spent a weekend together with great food, Christmas cheer, presents, and watching the kids play (er, don't make me write the story of the night before "Christmas". Carter decided it was Christmas morning at 12am and 5am--I didn't know the excitement started this young, Next year, the kids get NO warning! Sleep is a good thing). Saturday we were able to have the whole Brown family over and as always it was great catching up and always nice to love on Grandma and Grandpa.
