One of my favorite things to watch is how Jason interacts with the kids. I have known since I met him what an incredible father he would make. Any party we went to, if he was missing, one would just need to look for the swarm of kids and he was sure to be the pitcher, or the jungle gym. He's been a favorite of a lot of our friends' kids, simply because he enjoys them and they pick up on it.
An additional reason is his level of goofiness. Thankfully it hasn't seemed to drop. We have all kinds of awesome games in this household... a few to mention:
-"Football Tickle Wrestle" (this one's a big hit, it somehow includes football, tickling, and wrestling--duh, hence the name)
-"Better Watch Out" (basically Daddy steam rolls Carter)
-"Excavator" (Carter fills Daddy's tummy with gas and gets a ride on the excavator)
-"Mighty Machine Ride"(of which you will see below)

The Forklift:
The Crane (this is the ball crane, there's a hook crane, too):
Hmmn, I candidly caught the "Pull Daddy's Finger" game... this one I do not condone:
Taking a break from all the wrestling:
Watching Jason play with the boys the way he does reminds me that things CAN wait and that this time is only present NOW. I need that reminder every night so that the next morning is started with a goal to play with my kids, make them laugh, chase them, tickle them, etc. It happens so quickly and before I know it, the day has gone by and I look back thinking, "I don't think I laughed with Carter today", or "Did we have a 'moment' today?".
Even though our responsibilities differ with the kids and the roles we have through out-the day can easily be defined, I can still posses the fun, wacky, imaginative spirit that Daddy brings home, and it's up to me to stop, set the dishes down and bulldoze my kids across the floor.
