Forlorn

Dear Nap time,

I'm not sure how it happened. Suddenly you decided not to welcome my firstborn with open arms. So quickly, in the cold winter breeze you disappeared, leaving nothing but a fond memory in your place.
I beg for you to come back.
You've been such a comfort, a friend, really. I looked forward to seeing you every day. I made you a priority. I worked hard for your "guaranteed" success. Yet you have disappointed. Every minute of your sweet bliss has been replaced.
You may be gone today, but I beg you to come back tomorrow.
I don't know how I'm going to survive without you.

Yours Truly,

Jodi
