For shizzle.
It's a healthy grizzle.
Masta recipe will def-in-it-ely clean the family's plum-bing, if you know what I mean.
Never seen a recipe rhyme? Well, now's the time, fo.
Kidding. I'll spare you my whiteness and move on to the sproutness.
First, let me make a disclaimer by saying I don't follow recipes. I'm not too great at measuring and such, therefore, my meals come out different (insert my preferred word here, "unique") each time. So my instructions remain vague--perfectly making room for your touch of personality.
Moving on.
We'll call this recipe "Sprouted Meatloaf".
100% Maker's Diet approved
1 package of lean ground turkey (please, no artificial ingredients/ antibiotics, etc.)
2 tbsp of dijon mustard (watch ingredients, stay away from sulfites)
1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese or feta cheese
1/2 cup-1 cup of sprouted oats (sprouting means soaking them overnight for at least 18 hrs... this process creates live enzymes that are extremely beneficial to your gi tract--if you would like more info about sprouting, be my guest and ask!)
1 tsp white pepper
2 pieces of sprouted wheat bread (can use any type of bread, really--we just use sprouted bread)--1 piece if using 99% lean turkey
1 tsp rosemary
3 chopped up green onions (optional)
2 shredded zucchini
fresh garlic to taste preference
salt to taste preference (I like a lot to avoid using sugary ketchup!)
Mix together
Form into a meatloaf and bake 45 mins at 350 degrees.
-or-
Form into burgers, grill or fry lightly in olive oil.

My kids love these. My mom started making the meatloaf and she hides additional ingredients such as ground flax seeds. I try not to put too much "roughage" in them as I change about 5 dirty diapers/day due to our high-fiber diet and I'm not currently looking for more.
Enjoy, and peace out, Sprout.
