At what point does the desire to help Daddy with all household tasks expire? I'm sure at nine or ten, Kid will notice that helping Daddy is not quite as exciting as skateboarding with his buddies... but we'll just take advantage of our child labor while we have it.

I've mentioned time after time how hard of a worker Kid is. He truly wants to be by Daddy's side through everything, no matter how hot, how tired, or how hungry. Such a first born!

This one, well, he just wants to be naked and dirty. Don't give him a task larger than that or he'll split. I can already tell he will be the "delegating party" in the family...

Thanks to Daddy Mock who worked so hard for his family this weekend. Of course nesting is in full force, so sewing, painting, planting...it's all happening. Creating, life-giving, you see where this is going.

"Are you sure you want pink flowers, it's going to be the holidays?", says Daddy Mock.

"Absolutely. They will be Scarlett's welcome home flowers. They can't be red! Goodness no!", replies yours truly.
