When you have five kids, you are always counting. Rarely can you view them all at once, so there's a lot of scanning. It quickly becomes a habit. All senses are put to use.

I took a moment to capture the annual kid photo at this year's parade...wouldn't you know that all five of mine made it in the photo? Look, you can be me for a moment...go ahead and find all five. :-)

Are they hungry?

Are they happy?

Are they fighting?

Are they sharing?

Do they have clean pants?

Who's holding them and are they annoyed?

Are they obeying?

Are they alive?

Are you tired yet?!
