Hats Off!

*Hats off to certain Papas who take their firstborn grandsons to work with them for the day so that certain Mommies can have a break and do some packing.

*Hats off to super cool kids who are excited to do so and tell their super cool Mommies (no one specific, of course) every detail about their outing (including the special "soda treat"....just kidding, Papa, still won't let that one go-wink, wink).

*Hats off to precious babies sporting precious crocheted gifted goodness (thanks Jennie!).

*Hats off to all the make-shift infant seats out there... papazan chairs are overrated, a simple box full of pillows will do.

*Hats off to good conversationalists and fabulous packing partners (seriously, no one ever told me how soon little girls start talking, and with such animation, oh my!).

*Hats off to all the Daddies out there that work hard to prepare their home for their family...and because Daddy has been gone...I've quickly learned...
*Hats off to all those single Mommies out there night after night putting their chillens to bed and still remaining somewhat sane!

Goin' Back!

A repeat photo from a special day.
Why am I posting it?
Well, because it's snowing there today for starters, makes me want to hop in the car and visit.
Secondly, well, because we're moving there--back to the country, back to Sonora!
And last...not only are we moving there, but we will be neighbors. That's right, neighbors, as in share a fence, bonfires at night, community garden-type of neighbors. Is that so amazing?
And you wonder why I have been saying God is so good!
Daddy Mock and I have been bombarded with lots of scripture and events that have led us to the place that our hearts never left. As sad as it is to leave the Wind Tunnel, our family here, the awesome church we've become apart of and all our wonderful friends we've come to know and love...we couldn't be more sure of this decision. I'm pretty sure it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to move NEXT DOOR to one of your best friends. Not to mention, the kids are beyond ecstatic. I would have to say their Mommies are too.

Stay tuned on our journey as there will be a lot of, shall we say, "challenges" on how to make our newly dubbed "Retro Rental" a lovely home.

The verse that started our journey just over one week ago:
(God moves fast when he chooses to, I tell you.)
Delight yourself in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Psalm 37:4
