Commune Thursday

I'm excited because it's Commune Thursday. I'm ready because I'm wearing one of my vintage dresses that Miss Stephanie dropped off for me. I think I look like Laverne and Shirley. My Momma calls me Lulu Laverne in it.
He's here! And I'm excited to see him.
What? Ten month-olds are very capable of showing affection, didn't you know?

The Circus Life

Last week has been overly booked and busy, with the last of the holiday photo rush, a fun filled early-family-Christmas, time with Grammy and Opa, a baby dedication of my two youngest, and a photo session swap with a talented friend and photographer, Scott Criswell.
We spoke before the season to get a swap set after the holiday rush we both were preparing to experience.

I had in mind the handmade banner, a field, and some country bumpkins sitting on vintage suitcases. He captured that and more.
I love friend photographers! Last year, Tracey from the Wind Tunnel and I swapped, and this year, Scott. Although, I must say, I get a bit shy swapping with those who are so inspiring technically and artistically!

If you're just learning or on your way to becoming professional, I highly suggest swapping with other photographers. Not only do you get your moment of life captured, but you can also learn quite a bit. Like how to make out in front of a camera (instead of directing others to do so)
Thanks, Scott, Carey, and your beautiful chillens. Looking forward to a barbecue with out having to "say cheese"!

And a few of his gorgeous family (seriously, the kids were so amazing to work with!)
