I am learning more and more about who my son is becoming. Yesterday, we were out in the back yard playing when I noticed him planting his golf balls in the bushes. I didn't say anything, as I knew if I were to distract him, I may never have found out the purpose.
So I watch. He retrieves his new "iron" (bad Mommy left his old one at Lilly's house in the mountains). He climbs in the bushes and proceeds to whack them out, one by one. Wow. I realized that after watching golf with Daddy a handful of times, he had learned that you can also golf on different terrain, and that different terrains could be more challenging.
One thing about Carter is that he loves a challenge. He is constantly pushing himself to move back further from the hoop, move the hoop higher, dribble further back from the goal, and my personal favorite and a new one, practice his back hand in tennis (what 2-yr-old does that?!).
