Well, I know now why Carter's 4-8 month period was my favorite. Although they become a bit more demanding at this age, their personalities really start to shine. Plus, they're too young for separation anxiety so they smile and laugh at everyone.

Everett is no exception. He is SO LOUD. He talks and talks, and if he's bored, he will let you know it. Although he rarely cries, his lungs have been properly exercised by his verbal opinions of his surroundings.

Not much has changed this month... some milestones:

-grabs at toys

-puts items in mouth

-trying to roll over both front to back and back to front

-extended wake time to 1.5 hrs

-smiles and laughs with strangers

-Mommy had to add a dream feed at 10pm as he started waking around 3am to feed. Chunky Monkey... so he sleeps from 7pm-7am with a dream feed at 10pm. (dream feed is Mommy waking baby to secretly get some milk in baby's tummy without really waking baby--sneaky, I know)

Since I don't take my kids to the doctor (spare the concern, they're perfectly healthy), I don't know his height or weight, but last time I checked he was approaching the 17lb mark!
