BLAST

Everett (aka Gansta Easy E) is not so easy at the moment. The little weasel (aye, big weasel) has been taking crap naps. Why, you ask? Well, it has a little thing to do with the new found passion of rolling. He will go down easily, but when he hits a certain point (45 mins to be exact), instead of going back to sleep like the normal Easy E would do, he chooses to roll with the homies, chat, talk, and then eventually cry until his mama comes to get him. What a joke. I don't have patience for short naps.

Eww. And it's not just naps. He wakes once every night due to rolling. Last night it was one hour of me going in, putting him on his tummy, him rolling over, talking, laughing, me coming in, putting him on his tummy, roll over, etc. I think tonight I'm just going to wear ear plugs and let him learn how to fall asleep on his back. Ha!

When Carter learned to roll, it was literally one night of me going in and putting him back to position. We never had to deal with this crap. Although Carter's all business when it comes to sleeping, Everett's a bit of a jokester.

Some exciting news: Everett cut his first tooth! It was really weird, I took the boys to the baseball field again and E was chewing on my fingers. All of a sudden I looked down and saw a little line in his gum... I thought, "no, it can't be"... sure enough, a little tooth! I guess he lives out his Gangsta name here as we never knew he was teething.... with Carter he would alert us at least a week before we ever saw the pearly white.
