I was getting the boys ready for lunch and I noticed Carter was hiding out in my room for a few minutes, silent. Of course my mom radar noticed it. I shouted, "Carter, what are you doing?"
His reply, "I'm getting into something". Caught.
We're working on being polite. He often says thank you and hello when adults address him, but in shy manner to where they often don't hear him. I still have to remind him to say it so that they can hear him. Yesterday we were in Trader Joe's and the cashier asks, "would you like some stickers". He *yells*, "YES, CARTER WOULD LIKE SOME STICKERS PLEASE". Then, I remind him to say thank you, again, he yells "THANK YOU FOR THE STICKERS, LADY". Eek.
