I'm not a fan of commercialized holidays. Not a big gift giver, and never expect gifts for holidays or birthdays. Therefore I rebel. Before the Valentine's hoopla begins and for fear of being cliche, I want to acknowledge my Love, my Rock, my Partner, my Best Friend right now, as he so much deserves.

You put God first, me second, and your boys third. Always. I have never seen you compromise. You are loving, selfless, honest, loyal, kind, faithful, patient, funny, gentle, confident, and secure. You are far too amazing for anyone to deserve, let alone me (selfish, inpatient, sarcastic, not funny....yikes).

You work hard. Really hard, yet the moment you walk in the door, your heart is with your family and work is a thing of the past. I admire that. The boys will know nothing other than peace, patience, and undivided attention from you. What an example.

I can go on and on of your attributes, your soul. But know above all that I love and respect you more than words can say or a touch can covey. I love you. With all my heart.
