Daddy Mock and I split ways and kids today. It was strange. He was in San Jose working on a demo project with Carter,

and I was here, working on this with Everett:

I was directed to a book, "The Creative Family" (great, great book, btw), by my friend, Cyndi. For celebrations, this family used a cloth banner, just like the one above. How genius! I love the idea of always having it on hand, to bring it out whenever there's a cause for celebration. And, as stated below, we have birthdays coming up, so now is a better time than ever to create. After completion, I hung it up to see how it looked. It brought such a joyful and whimsical feel into our home, I think I may keep it up for a few days.

And I think the boys' rooms need one too...
