He Has Risen

He has risen, indeed!
We had a wonderful Easter weekend filled with family and most importantly, reflection of what Christ has done for us and what he continues to do through us. Easter Sunday was spent at our home church in the morning, and then we headed to the Mockabee palace to do some more praising!
Notice Kid Mock (highlighted in color for the viewer's benefit) as our worship leader... He led everyone in "One Way, Jesus!"... his ultimate favorite song. He made sure that everyone was standing and participating by singing or playing an instrument. What joy it is to see worship through the eyes of a child. No inhibitions. A model for us all.
As if singing "One Way" twice in a day (they sang it at church, too, and trust me, everyone heard him join in!) wasn't enough excitement for Kid, throw in some dyed eggs, a hunting adventure, and older cousins ("big guys")--perfection at it's best.
We were delighted to celebrate the day with Timber as well.
The cousins (this wasn't the best picture of all, but I absolutely loved the way Kid and Clayton were sharing a moment). Special.
