Well, as this serves as the family "book", I must, in fact, keep some detailed records of Honey Bean's pregnancy. Naturally, Kid has his own "pregnancy book" where everything from the story of how we found out to my measurements at 26 weeks is recorded. Bee never got anything. In fact, I have one measly picture of him in my tummy which was taken out of sheer guilt, assuming that one day he would question whether or not he was adopted based on the lack of evidence of pregnancy.
I will try to be different. We have the family journal, now, therefore, the excuses are unacceptable.

Me at 13.5 weeks:
(I know, I would be saying the same thing if I were you, "Woman, put some makeup on, at least wash your face and never wear white pants in a profile picture!"...alas, I didn't say our journal would be perfect by any means).
Pregnancy cravings:
-Anything vinegar, hence the bottles of organic mustard I've been buying, pickles, balsamic dressing, cucumbers with balsamic, more mustard, more pickles...
-Mineral water (sometimes with a tad of lime juice if I'm feeling like a "mocktail")
-For two weeks, cottage cheese. Every hour.
-Sour cream
-Cheeseburgers with plenty of mustard
Pregnancy aversions:
-Unfortunately anything green or vegetabley (unless it's cucumbers).
-Unfortunately again, everything that was listed on this post!
-Coffee (our cash envelope for Starbucks is stocking up!)
-Sweets, up until two weeks ago, unfortunately, now the sweet tooth is back (but definitely not in full force... I will, thankfully, settle for one Klondike bar vs. three. Don't ask.)
Similarities:
-This pregnancy is very similar to the boys' other than my nausea isn't as bad as it was with Bee, but my energy level is nearly one quarter of what it was with both boys... that's hit the entire family hard.
-Weight gain (1 lb-although don't expect the poundage update every month. :-))
Differences:
-Definitely popped out sooner than the boys, although, oddly, I was larger before the miscarriage of the twin. Strange, I know. I'm now about the size I was when I was still pregnant with both.
-My belly button popped out already! Although, I think that is due to the high level of constant stretching with my previous pregnancies... boy the cliche is true... your body is never the same after pregnancy and nursing!
-Sigh. I stopped running when I started bleeding at 6 weeks. I ran with both boys until my 6th month. Heavy Sigh.
Comparing the similarities and the differences, I either have another boy in there or all of my pregnancies will be about the same. We will find out in less than two weeks and this blog will definitely announce who Bean is! Stay tuned!
