Nesting: Episode Gazillion and Seven

One of my less tedious projects (I'm kind of over it, if you know what I mean!).
I have been wanting to make a mobile for over Scarlett's changing table (which resides in her closet). The closet is quite bland and in need of some color. By using some extra fabric and ribbon, I made this little pinwheel mobile:
I attempted my first pinwheel for a headband I made for my niece. I was surprised at how easy these little cuties were to make (however, a whole mobile of them is a different story). The whole ordeal was not as easy as I had hoped for and didn't come out as cute as I had imagined, but it's literally the last thing on the list (other than scrubbing down the high chair, which I'm choosing to ignore) and I am happy to have it done.
Remember me mentioning the boys carrying around a doll? Well, this isn't the doll that they have been fighting over, but the teether that was in Scarlett's stocking. Kid decided that he was tired over taking turns with the one baby we do have, so he chose to make one of his own. This is baby Scarlett (original, Kid). She has not left his side, literally. It's so cute to see such a boyish boy nurture like Kid has been doing. Scarlett went with us on another nature hike today, to the grocery store, to the church. She napped while Kid napped and she's enjoying video time with Kid in this photo--at this exact moment, she happens to be pillow jumping on the couch with the boys. What a lucky girl! It's been melting my heart and gets me more and more excited to see how he will be with the real Scarlett!
Oh, and if you're wondering... the swaddling job is done by Kid himself. He requested her to be swaddled just like Mary did with Jesus. He also has gotten very frustrated over the process and is finally able to do it on his own. It has to be "just right and tight, Mommy!"...
