Play-By-Play

Family Work Day.
It's a special day of the week for us.
And documented for the purpose of our family journal...a play-by-play:
*Daddy Mock reading the Bible with the boys after a big family breakfast*
*Kid working hard with Daddy-he loves any big-guy tools, specifically the most dangerous ones*
*This is "Brussel Sprout" (named by Kid). He's a red racer. Our awesome meeter-reader-guy (also a good friend of the family and Bee's Sunday School teacher)brought him by for the boys--he found Brussel Sprout in a meter in the neighborhood. The boys held him and befriended him (country initiation), and then let him go to find his family*
*Lots of painting on Mommy Bee's behalf. Tired of it and I will be relieved when this current project is over. It's tedious, requires patience, and requires time... all things that aren't readily available in my life*
*We ate...all together as a family in a restaurant for the first time since Honey's birth. It was very successful and with some minor bribing, we had very well-behaved children including little Miss Honey who was oohed and ahhed over*

*It was a sweet day and I told Daddy Mock that I felt "back", normal, out as a family and not holed up in the house like one does those first few months with a newborn. It was pleasant and a special day. Growing up, we usually always had something special, a reward in a sense, after Family Work Day and a night out as a family was today's perfect reward*
