A little tale of your not-so-average swim lesson...
On top of the hill, about one-half hour away, lies a special sustainable ranch, where we go to swim and play.

The children run through the gardens, avoiding their turn.
They prolong the inevitable by eating peas and searching for worms.
At this small farm, the crops feed many families...but that's not the feeding that this story's topic brings
There's always a boob out, nursing, you see...an organic latte bar with raw milk and raw honey. The children snack on fresh picked berries and peas, the mothers nurse, chat and watch their offspring learn to swim with ease.
The chickens are pecking along, the kittens are resting, the fresh mountain air sends a light breeze along, the quail are nesting. It's a relaxing place to go while your two-year-old screams about wanting to be all done and about wanting ice cream. (a great reward for hard work, it seems)
Teacher Cindy's her name and her passions are many...gardening, healthy living, and getting
kids pool safe and ready...
She does an excellent job and the kids love her so, the moms love her too and to swim lessons, we happily go!
A big thank you to Teacher Cindy and all of the time and effort she gives, a big moment of bliss when thinking of the community we now live in.
Like minded, kind hearted, and natural are they,
the ones with the boobs out, the ones baling hay (you know who the rest of you are, I do say)!
Love you girls! :-)

Soon to come, the reason behind the technique of swim lessons we take part in and also why we do it...in the meantime, check out Teacher Cindy's blog to find out ways to prepare your little one for the water!
