Seven Months

Honey Girl, look at you up on your knees.
My have you become quite a little person. In the past month, you have:

-Started getting mobile. You are not crawling but rocking on all fours and really trying to! You practice often in your crib. You also use rolling to get you in interesting places.
-Started wiggling and squirming out of our arms. You're so skinny, it's hard to hold on to your long body!
-Teething...I believe you may be getting your bottom teeth soon.
-Changed eye colors! Your eyes used to be a vivid blue, some days they can be almost a greyish brown, but mostly they are greyish blue...I'm curious to see if you end up having your Papa's eyes, as his do the same.
-Started whining and fake crying. Yesterday's post documents that look--it's quite dramatic, little one. Your whining happens when you are frustrated and want something but haven't figured out how to physically get there!
-Stayed away from solids...I'm not sure you will last long in this department. You know what food is and have definitely experienced it when Mommy wasn't paying close attention...so far, I have caught you: sucking an apricot, gnawing on the boys' pretzels, and sucking on a peach... now that you know what it is, you tend to do your fake cry while you watch others eat, oh my.
You are still very cuddly and the sweetest little thing. In fact, right now I am watching you lay your head on Bee, nuzzling into his chest. I'm very surprised as you tend to stay away from him. He's eating it up, too...although I'm waiting for something to happen in which I will have to intervene, but for now, I will enjoy this moment and plead denial over how quickly you are growing.
We love you and your sweet spirit, Honey!
