First of all, isn't it crazy how Bee resembles a lizard in this photo? Those eyes were so yellow in this light...absolutely no color alterations to this picture...simply the light and Bee's crazy colored eyes.
It's been a while since I've recorded some Mockaboys' funny sayings...
Bee:
-As of lately everything is "Help me, Jesus" or "Thank you, Jesus!" The first time he said it, Daddy Mock and I were snuggling. We heard him struggling with climbing on something across the room. Out from his Bee mouth: "Help me, Jesus!". We laughed, we sighed, it was cute. Now he says it quite often, I'm sure Jesus is happy to help.
-We were on our way to a work party and I was going down the list of "polite behavior". We did some role playing in how the boys should politely respond when an adult asks them questions...they did great, and towards the end of the party, a lady asked him his name. Bee responded, "I'm Everett Jon Mockabee. I'm two, and I'm good, thank you, how about you?"... she laughed and said she was doing quite well.
-Kid has been interested in college lately. Forget elementary or junior high, bypass high school, Kid's ready for college. He usually asks me what he will do for work while in college, who he will live with. He surprised me one morning when he mentioned that he would like to marry his friend, Lilly, because she is nice. She shares her toys and he likes her. But they will not get married until after college.
-Kid came in from playing outside...he was filthy (par for the course here) and I told him he could not come in until he brushed himself off...his response, "I'm not dirty, I'm tan!"
-"Mommy you're the best friend ever" (heart melts)
-"Sissy, you're the prettiest little princess. We will always save you!" (more melting)
-Grammy had a conversation with Kid a few weeks ago...goes like this:
G: What do you love most about God?
K: He made everything for us. No, because his son Jesus died on the cross!
G: What do you love most about your Mommy?
K: She loves me soooooo much.
G: What do you love most about your Daddy?
K: He brings us turkey home! No, he won 5 games of volleyball in a row!
-The other day, Mommy: "Kid, are you not feeling very good?" Kid: "No, I'm feeling good, I'm just not feeling very obedient".
