The boys are four months!
They are very drooly. I don't think that they are teething, but the teething necklaces are on due to all the extra acid in their drool.
Developmental:
-Lots of laughs and talking...big squeals
-They're trying to roll over from back to front. They get all the way to their side. They're super super squirmy, especially Ozzie Man.
-Oz is 11lb14.5oz and 'Lias is 12lbs...they finally have evened out to each other's weights! However, they're bodies are a bit different. Oz is the stretched out version of 'Lias...he's about 1/2 inch longer and a bit thinner. 'Lias is more broad.
-The boys are consistently sleeping from 7pm-4am, eat and then wake up between 6:30 & 7:30am.
-August has found his finger/fist! I am pretty sure he would sleep all night, because every time Elias wakes at 4, he's sleeping away, sucking on his left hand... wondering (read: hoping) if Elias will find his.
Differences: August & his fist... also Oz seems to like sleep more. He wants to nap sooner than 'Lias and also sleeps through the 45 min mark almost every time. Elias wakes up at the 45 min mark almost every single time. He uses the paci to go back to sleep as I have tried everything else and it's just not cutting it. Elias seems to have a very week immune system. Every bug this household has brought home, he seems to catch a version of it. This past bug he got very sick, including a three day fever. :-( August seems to fight off everything. I have read some research on this with identical twins...it seems very common for one twin to be much stronger than the other.
Similarities: These boys are laughing and talking, so ticklish and snugly. They have such great little spirits. They're very laid back and only get fussy when they're sleepy. They're starting to look more alike to me. Their heads are starting to take on the same shape and now their weights are virtually the same.
Have I mentioned that the baby stage is my favorite? Oh, they just adore their Momma. They don't argue, complain, whine...no, they just coo and laugh and look at me like I am the greatest thing in the world. They don't run away. They don't spit (on purpose!). They're just fantastic little people.
We love you, baby boys!
