Happiest Place on Earth

It may be Disneyland for some, but for us, this place is the happiest place on Earth. We spend so much of our time here. It's the most peaceful yet inspiring spot.
We are so fortunate to live in an area that a lot of people travel to.  We get to take advantage of these "local" spots while sleeping in our own beds, showing up without shoes or shirts, and leaving to take a late afternoon nap, just to return after dinner for a summer evening swim.

Even babies even get pedicures here.

Little girls turn into mermaids.

And twin boys get the finest in water dancing entertainment.

I think we'll do it all over again tomorrow.

Six Months

I'm sitting here, nearly about to cry. They're six months!

They are still a bit behind developmentally, but here are the latest milestones:
-Sleeping through the night (it's about time!)--with the exception of vacation.  Somehow they knew they would get boo boo milk if they squawked long enough to wake the whole household.
-Rolling over both ways (both boys now)
-Teething
-Grabbing objects and chewing on them
-Sleeping in separate cribs (this was sad for me, but it's what started them sleeping through)

Elias found his fingers, yay!  He boycotted the paci for a week which was annoying.  Brother knows how to whine without it. But thankfully he decided it was okay again. Plug that guy up!
Elias is always a week or so ahead of Ozzie with dexterity development, and Ozzie is always about a week ahead in "language/sounds"... fascinating, isn't it?

August is a verbal lad.  He is now babbling.  He says Dadadada all day long.  Super happy, super funny.  He's a crack up. He's still smaller than Li-li (the current nickname for Elias), but is more active.

We love you boys... what a delight you are to us!
