So, now that I am officially guilty for not recording anything about either of my boys since Carter was 18 months old, I am hoping my good friend, the internet, will help with this tragic situation.
I am a much better typer than writer and seem to prioritize time on the computer rather than scrapbooking, so this should be a great key to success in keeping up with my boys' milestones.

Let's start with Carter's latest phrases:
Carter: "let's fix it!"
Mommy: "I don't think we can fix the gun, son--I think it's truly broken"
Carter: "duct tape, Mommy!"
My favorites:
"hoooow abouuuuut" (when stalling to do something else!)
"no way, jose"
"baseball field, please" "Carter batter, Mommy pitcher"
*My little business man is already noticing "logos"... he points them out whenever he sees an image that appears as a logo. What a kid! That's what he gets for having two parents who majored in biz!
*Carter can now count to 12, not 10, not 20, 12.
*He's just picked up the game of hide and seek. He's not the greatest at hiding. Hilarious to watch.
*Of course sports rule the world at the moment. If it's not tennis (nennis), it's hoops, baseball, soccer, and golf. His current fave is baseball due to his recent gift (thanks Grandma and Grandpa Brown--whoohoo!): A legit baseball glove and helmet.
*Although he's great with Everett... the nursing thing has become a bit questionable. He now runs to my bag to grab my hooter hider (yes, that's the brand, and it's a God send), he calls it his "cape". He throws it on, finds his doll and proceeds to breastfeed just like mom. Some may think it's strange, I think it's adorably innocent.

Everett:
Not so much to report, but that the boy is a complete linebacker. He's as pudgy as can be and just the sweetest little guy. He's very similar to how Carter was as a baby. Some differences:
*Everett is an extremely loud baby. He grunts, farts, coos, squirms, etc. All with lots of noise. One would think I am carrying a baby piglet. He does when awake and when sleeping. Pretty entertaining (that is if you're not too busy chasing around a two-year-old).
*Everett got chubbier much quicker than Carter (now, I must take this moment to say that Carter had his fair share of chub, just not this early). At four weeks, E is wearing 3-6 months clothes and a size 2 diaper. That was Carter at 3 months.
*Everett is much more alert than Carter was at this age. Must be due to the fact that big brother must always be talking, running, or playing the drums.
*Of course we can't forget the dark hair and dark skin. I am boasting with pride as I write this. Something, folks, something in my DNA filtered through.
Milestones:
*Everett smiled for the first time (a real one, okay, not the gas kind) at Daddy. He was exactly 4 weeks. He has been smiling since.
