Buckwheat (aka: Carter) has been a bit bucky lately. He now thinks he own's a helicopter. He talks about it often and even plans on taking friends like Colin and Kuper on it. When I ask him "where is this helicopter?" He answers, "in the sky". When I ask him, "when are you taking Colin?: He answers, "some day". If you choose to disagree, he will repeat it time and time again until you conform to his imagination (sound familiar?--eek).
He likes to teach Everett things. "Everett, look, this is an octagon". "Oh, Everett, this is a pipe wrench, it's not for babies". "Everett, you are little, Carter's a big, big boy".
Still sports-obsessed, yes, but to his mother's liking, he is starting to get into normal things like puzzles, pretend, animals, dinosaurs, cars, etc.
Latest quotes:
"Mommy, I love your hair" (while stroking his fingers through it)
"No, Carter do it himself" (of course)
"Let's work on a project " (when he's bored)
"Let's do a craft with some scissors" (again, when he's bored)
"Everett's yawning, Mommy--put him to bed!"
Carter's also is using his negatives a lot. Example: (YELLING) "Hi skateboard kids! Uh Oh, Mommy, they not hear you". "Carter NOT like this asparagus, Mommy!"
