Ahhh. Today our church held their service at San Martin Park, a little park with a petting zoo, barn, maze, and large grass area. It was really special. The service was in the barn and the kids had a nature walk instead of Sunday School. I wish church was there every week!
I got super nostalgic as the church picnic much reminded me of our old church picnics when I was a kid. They were such great memories. I remember the sight of everyone bringing their casseroles, special desserts, bean dips.... single people bringing watermelon (now that I look back, wasn't that singling them out a bit? he he). I remember the pool, the feel of the diving board, the shivering while waiting to impress my friends with my ever-so-popular back dive. The super-competitive game of volleyball. Good times.
On a different note, a little Everett update for those of you who care:
-He's back to sleeping through the night. Guess he got over his excitement with rolling.
-He's back to taking a short nap in the morning and an uber-long nap in the afternoon, to my liking.
-He's taking a bottle! Whoohoo. FREEEEEEEEEEDOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! Now if I could only have MY MOM come and visit to take advantage. Sigh.
*disclaimer, Kellee gives plenty of opportunities, but must take advantage of all grandparents in all angles.
Ohh, and I am so bummed. While I am grateful for now being on a reliable computer (J switched all of my files to our now "household" laptop), my camera's software is not yet set up, so photos of the cherubs will have to wait for now.
