The thought of going much longer without being able to upload my pictures puts me in deep despair. Not joking. I blog less, I take less pictures of the boys, and I am so behind, it's not funny. For my personal reminder:
-Everett 6 Months
-Everett's eating habits, plus tooth #6
-Everett's walker mania
-Carter's 2.5 yrs
-Week with Aunties
-House update
That aside, had to share a short moment of genetic obsession of organization (that or stalling, you name it):
Today I put Carter down for his nap. As I was leaving his room, I realized that his underwear were in the center of his floor. I thought, "Crap, I know he's going to notice that, but oh, well, I'm too lazy to pick them up and move them to the side" (PS-he still wears a pull up for nap. He rarely needs it, but of course the times that I have left him with undies on, he has a mid-nap accident). Back to the story...as I'm cleaning up the tornado of the day's previous activity (lunch time for both boys), I hear a little man say something from his bedroom, but that was it, then silence...
As I go to wake him from his nap, I notice the underwear are not where they were when I had left. Ha! I knew it. So, of course I go to check where they belong, and there lay a half-day's used pair of basketball underwear. Brilliant. Made his Mommy proud.
All that being said because the kid NEVER leaves his bed. He did the second night we moved him to a big boy bed, but hasn't since. I thought that was pretty funny. Like his mom, he can't sleep unless everything is in it's place.
-Another bed story:
Two nights ago we hear over the monitor loud screaming, like a nightmare or something (he's across the house so we wouldn't be able to hear him if he cried, etc.). I thought, ah, he'll go back to sleep... well it escalated, so I shuffled across the house, open the door, and NO Carter... weird. What the heck happened? Then I spot this spout of blond hair poking out from the wall. Poor kid rolled between the bed and the wall and was literally wedged, standing up on the ground with his head barely popping out! Good thing I didn't let him "cry it out"!
