Halfsies

Everett, you're halfway to the year-mark! I can't believe it, now six months old. It amazes me how fast the second child's baby days go by. It saddens me and your Daddy as we feel like we can't keep up with all the new things you do.

You are still so easy and such a precious boy! You're still loud. You're still noisy. Now you can do the following things:
-Sit up unassisted
-Walk in your walker (you can even turn and navigate, mostly to follow brother, to his dismay!)
-Babbling more and more, now your vocab includes "mumum" "nananana" "bububub"
-Transferring objects from one hand to the other
-Dropping things, watching where they went and then trying to reach them
-You had your first ride in a park swing

You're still very strong. Your grip is unbelievable. You're still a big boy, you are so wide in your shoulders and your ribs... my little football player (um, clear example in the picture below--note to self, no more stripes!).

You're currently wearing 12-18 months clothes, and are quickly outgrowing those.

Your favorite toys:
-Leap Frog Table top (without it's legs)
-Sitting in a laundry basket with some toys
-Your walker
-A yellow triangle teether. You got a lot of use out of it while breaking two more teeth. (tooth count, 4)

Still a joy, still a happy baby, and still making life easy on Mommy! We love you!
