Smooth Move

On a mostly random note--I had to tell someone about an observation I made today and I'm pretty sure it's not "call your friends and tell them"-worthy... I get home from grocery shopping, and as I am unloading the groceries, I notice that the apple sauce seems different. The packaging was the same, the ingredients are still just apples, then I realize, AHA! They changed from selling 6 individually wrapped mini-apple sauces to 4! Same price, people. That's smooth, Trader Joe's.

To piggyback on unloading groceries, I am unloading the applesauce to stack in our make-shift pantry (an old spray painted armoire), and am delighted to see the contents of last night's Nob Hill grocery store visit (long story, I have to shop at two stores to get what I need). Jason unloaded the groceries for me and did EXACTLY to my liking. Labels forward, canned goods categorized and evenly spaced apart. I'm not sure if he was mocking me as the day before we had a little "loving tension" due to my over-analness of the garage (WHY I feel like the garage needs to be spotless, I'm not sure, but I'm working on getting over it, as well as the shed, and my car, and the house, and the back yard...) OOOR if he was simply trying to "love and respect" me. Either way, I appreciate it and it seriously made my day. It's the little things, Hunny.
