I'll admit it. I'm not a craft mom. I like doing my own crafts, and before kids, shoot... more than half this house is painted by yours truly in her free time. However, free time doesn't exist, and I'm trying to avoid messes these days, not make them. But I'm working on it. And being that it's still beautiful weather out here, making a mess outside is a bit more attractive.

This is how it started. Carter as Picasso, Everett happy with dirty outdoor toys (remnants from our water table, circa-summer).

I love how Carter wanted the "M" to be a part of his painting... no I didn't place it there for artistic purposes! He's rather fond of his "M for Mockabee".

Everett drops the plastic and heads towards more bio-friendly toys. Perfect, he needed some roughage anyway. Love the dirty hands.
