Two Steps Closer

Gravitating towards green seems to be a natural process, just as growing in knowledge as a reader, getting stronger as an athlete, producing more vegetables as a gardener...

It's amazing how we have tacked on this statement of "going green", when in all reality, the journey to get there is one many have already traveled. We just need to talk to our mothers and our grandmothers to learn about cloth diapers, walking to the grocery store, supporting local business owners, and line-drying laundry (read about the benefits here--including financial benefits!). I can't believe it's taken us this long to set up our line. But we did it, and it's just one step closer.

By default the other step I discovered was electric shavers! Originally it started with the thought of summer coming and my infrequent showering... what to do about wearing those short shorts? I started my research on electric shavers and learned, that they, too, are more green. Not to mention my shaver (that earned high reviews) cost the same price as one box of my razor refills. GASP.
Have you made any more steps to going green? Any more discoveries by default (or not) that save money and the environment? They seem to go hand in hand, don't they?
