All Grown Up

It's always amazing to me that when the baby of the family gets replaced with a new baby or babies, how instantly their "babyness" vanishes and their independence blooms. Sissy Lu is no exception to the trend. From the moment we arrived home, her many words turned into full sentences. Her request to sing songs turned into her singing the songs for us. Her sassyness turned into rebellion. Her cuteness doubled (well, potentially tripled if you ask me)...
She's always been on the adventurous side, but she has now decided that since she is not quite a baby, she must be a big brother. Therefore, she gets caught doing big brother things quite often.
One of my favorite things is to ask her how old she is. She's confident that she is three. I correct her and tell her she is one, to which she responds, "No, I'm three!".
Our property is lined with these rock walls. I often find her challenging herself on the highest part...always with a determined grin. Love that girl.
