And It's UP!

What better way to celebrate my photography blog FINALLY being up other than a small little photo shoot? And the crocheted headband? Handmade by a friend, a very talented one at that... if she had a blog I would feature it, but for now I'm trying to convince her to start up an etsy shop...I think she would do fab...if you think so too, leave a comment as I know others would want to get their hands on this slice of antiqueness-girlness-cuteness!
So, yes, the photography blog is up. Visit it! Send your friends to it! It's my small attempt at getting organized and not having to discuss the awkward subject of pricing, etc. Now that Christmas family pictures are in high demand, it's been more than motivating to make it happen, and so, it has!

Children Should Be Seen and Not Heard

Zoe's dead. It didn't take long. I thought beta fish were supposed to live forever? Well, whether it be the coldness of the night or starvation, I'm not sure which, but she's in heaven with all the other unfortunate fish out there. Rest in peace, Zoe.
Kid was sad about her passing. He didn't quite comprehend why she died. Not having a solid reason was very hard for him, I should have just made up a heroic story of her bravery, but alas, my imagination has gone downhill. Must read more books.

The following conversation:

Kid: If Zoe is dead does that mean she's a fossil?
Me: Hmmn, I am sure at one point she will be but it takes many years for something to become a fossil.
Kid: Can we dig her up in the rocks?
Me: Many years down the road we can try.

Kid: Hmn. Okay. Let's do that.

Kid has also been getting the hang of rhyming. It started with a simple library book. Today on our walk he started trying to rhyme:

Kid: Post, Most. Does that rhyme?
Me: Yes, it does, great job.

Kid: Hair, There. Does that rhyme?

Me: Again, yes, good job!

Kid: Sorry, Charlie, does that rhyme?

Me: Yes, that's why we say that because it sounds funny when it rhymes. Sorry Charlie!

Kid: Blue, Hair, does that rhyme?

Me: Not at all, silly, but blue shoe does.

Kid: I know, but it doesn't sound funny. I like the rhymes to sound funny.
