I clipped his hair. Short. Now he sports the army cut that I accidentally gave Jason, oops. The weird thing is, the second his blond locks fell to the ground, I caught myself looking at a boy, not a baby, not a toddler, a boy. Wow. He is now thinner, more coordinated, and saying things daily that really makes me understand the cliche "how fast they grow".
Some latest Carter moments:
-noticing that Mommy does not have a pee pee like Daddy and Everett. (blush)
-he likes to check out my outfit every morning. Sometimes I'm still in my "treadmill clothes", other times I have "clothes on", some mornings I'm in my "shower robe". The worst is if I am in "jammies", which means that, a: I didn't get up to run, and, b: I haven't even gotten in the shower. Somehow he is aware of this shortcoming and usually requires much more attention in the morning--causing a delayed shower and a stinky mommy.
-now he says "bless you" out of habit after hearing a sneeze.
-sports enthusiast, yes, we all know that, but I have been surprised to see him whack the golf ball with A+ form... crazy. He lines his club up and everything.
-I hop out of the shower the other morning to hear Carter on the monitor...here's his one way convo:
"ooh, firetruck, cool!" "Mommmmmma, fire truck, pleeeeeeeeeease"
"hmmn. Momma go?"
"ooh hooo! Mike's baseball hat!" (side note: Uncle Mike was with the White Sox affiliation for a bit, and Carter loves the White Sox hat)
"Mike hits it!"
"Let's go Mike, Let's go-whoo who, Let's go Mike, Let's go-whoo who"!
I was seconds too late to capture it on film. It's unfortunate, because it was darned cute. Little does Mike know that Carter was "dugout cheering" for him at 8 in the morning....
Me and Carter caught in a silly moment:

Let's not forget Big E--cute as a button. Rolls all down his arms and legs. Still growing out of clothes at a rapid pace.
-good sleeper--still sleeps anywhere without a fuss
-good eater, duh
-tough as nails (has been abused quite a bit by older brother)
