If You're Happy and You Know It

Everett's Clapping! It's so stinking cute to watch. I love this stage. They become more and more like real people, he he.

Every morning after my run, I park the boys in front of the garage and walk through the house to open the door. Every time the door opens enough to see their faces, I say, "Hey, KIDS!". For some reason they love this part (maybe because they know the run's over, ha!), and HUGE smiles are on their faces anticipating me saying it. I thought I would catch it on camera as it's truly such a special way to start the day.

Per my previous blogging, you all know that we have been working on "heart" issues. Well, I must say I have gotten quite a bit of slack from this one. Yes, it sounds lame explaining to your 2-yr-old that he needs to have an "obedient heart", or he needs to change his attitude to a "happy heart", but I am pretty confident I will be thanked by my son's future wife, so back off!
Anyways, Carter was working on a puzzle in the garage this morning when he opens the door and says, "Oh, Mommy, this puzzle has a happy heart!". Photo to capture the moment:
