I am learning more and more each day to let go of my preconceived notions of what parenting a preschooler should be. Carter will learn how to write his name and identify letters in due time. Right now, my role as a mother and a teacher is to let him explore.

This is one below is my favorite. He was inseparable with that branch for the whole walk and back (it made it into Trader Joe's as well, lucky twig).
After aspiring to be Columbus, one can develop quite an appetite... and wouldn't you know that as I set down the cut up turkey meatloaf (yes, that's shredded zucchini and sprouted oats in there--boy you're missing out until you experience that delicacy), he proceeded to spell his name with them.
