As I was just rambling on about how sad I was that the boys wouldn't grow up knowing how to ride a horse or even know the definition of a halter...guess who comes through? The Big Guy upstairs. No more than two days later did I receive a call asking if the boys wanted to meet our friends' new horse and foal. It was so special. Carter officially now knows what a halter is and is aware of how to pet, walk behind, feed, and talk to horses!
I was so happy to see him immediately go to the horse as well. I thought a creature of this size would surely scare him. My little country boy at heart.
