Firstly, how fun is this nap time project that I did today? I saw this shirt at the goodwill on Friday and realized (after reconstructing) it would pair up great with the scraps of the deer print I have been itching to use on some cute little girl. I think my most recent niece will be the new owner.
Aren't the little knee patches sweet?
Baby Bee SEW badly needs these on all of his pants as his crawling is always using and abusing.
Sew, what I need your help for is gift ideas for a couple soon to be married. They are young, fresh from college and off to their new careers. Since our gift giving philosophy requires handmade only (I think I will allow for over $5 in this case--although if I can help it, I won't!), what to do? I don't want to be cheap... I want it to be thoughtful and useful.
My only thought is to create a his and hers lunch set--reusable lunch bag, snack bags, and napkins that they can pack to work? But is this too juvenile? And what if they choose to eat out every day, then it would have no use? Thoughts please! Your feedback would be sew helpful!
Chuckle now, it's sew cliche, I know.
