It felt good to use the pedal again! I'll be headed down to Orange County with the boys in a few days to visit my mom and attend my sis-in-law's baby shower for baby Quinn... our $5/Handmade gift policy is SO HARD to follow, specifically when it has to do with babies and family! I didn't quite make it below five, but I was near close.

I attempted my first blanket! It was also my first time working with knit, which is very stretchy and a bit tricky, but I loved the softness of it.

I made it double-sided with an applique corduroy star on each side.

I thought I had grey dye left from this project, but alas, all I had was blue. I couldn't stand to leave the onesies white, so Quinn will not be far from sight ever in these bright blue onesies! The pants (shhh, don't tell!) were found at TJ Maxx months ago... they are Splendid pants, which would normally retail for at least $20 alone, but I got them from $1.50! Someone didn't know how much they were worth when pricing, obviously! I should mention that the star is placed on the rump, thank you, not the front. Daddy Mock was very concerned about that!
